It’s that time of the year again.
Decorations have gone all red and white with glittering stars and lights abound.
Familiar musical tunes have also made a comeback. “Jingle bells, Batman smells, Robin laid an egg, the Batmobil, broke it’s wheels, and the Joker got away, hey!”. Hehe… courtesy of Bart Simpson.
I’ve been capturing the sights of the all the beautiful decors from all over town. Seems Malaysia, in spite of the absence of snow, still wants to welcome Santa in a big way.
The Pavillion in KL has some of the most remarkable settings. Being a new centre, I’m assuming they need to prove something! But the performance around the centre concourse area is really cool. You have to see it to understand what I’m talking about; something to do with a King, Queen, court jesters and the works.
Not to be outdone, One Utama in Damansara Utama also created this huge setting. Complete with robotic band players! Cool. The performance (pictured here during rehearsal) isn’t as grand as The Pavillion’s but was interesting due to the very young cast. The kids were a boon to watch!
These final 2 shots were taken at The Curve, Mutiara Damansara. Simple but sweet. Especially with the small homey huts surrounding the main centre piece. A photographers magnet!
So there you go, 3 venues about town. Hope you found them fun to look at.
I’d like to take this opportunity to wish all my Christian friends a very Merry Christmas! Certainly won’t be a white Christmas, maybe a wet one though! Cheers!
