Quotes & Excerpts

I’ve got a few of these lined up to share. Some are passed on by friends (a big thank you to Syib!) while others are just captions I feel are really nice to think about.

“If you can’t go fast with 90hp, 900hp won’t help you” – some guy named Bob Hall who used to work at Mazda.

He sounds like a right idiot to me, though the quote sort of makes sense. Lah.

“Speed never kills. Becoming stationary all of a sudden, that’s what gets you.”

    -Jeremy Clarkson :D

    “Impossible is always the untried”

    -some old Ujang mag :D

“Rather than thinking how to die beautifully, isn’t it better to live life beautifully until the end?”

-Gintoki, main character of Gintama, a comedy + action anime. It’s my fav anime btw!! My avatar in fact, is the main villain in the anime —->

Ah, moshikashite….u oso an otaku? eheheheh.

what’s ur fav anime series? Aside from Gintama, I do love Last Exile, Blue Submarine no.6 and Ergo Proxy. A lot more actually, but those are some of the extraordinary ones that I cherish ;) Btw, I forgot to tell the name of the guy in my avatar: Takasugi Shinsuke-sama!!

Hannah Tan club? Is it a club formed since she became Animax’s ambassador (face, host or w/e u call it)?

I rly wish I can learn Japanese very quickly, so that I can then start watching animes, doramas (I watch Jap dorama too!!) n read Shonen Jump easily ^_^

tokmoh -> to be honest, i’m not crazy about anime but i have friends & colleagues who are just nuts about it. i do like the artistic side of it though… i was in Tokyo last year with an anime-crazed friend and he was delirious.

Ahahah, Tokyo is definitely home for anime fans, just like how Detroit is home to (American especially) car manufacturers ;) . In Japan, they even hv professional cosplayers ie wearing costumes which mimic characters from anime!! I can’t imagine wearing it around anime n manga expos as well as photographing for mags n all can be some ppl’s way of earning income!! Oh, bt then, that’s modelling, eheheheh.

Indeed, Japanese makes the best cartoon in the world (compared to American/British style) artistically, sadly though, they’re unable to channel that energy to automotive world. Japanese cars are seldom as inspirational or emotional as a European (generally lah), which I suppose home for automotive designers like u ;) . It’s great then that u’ve been exposed to their world through ur attachment wit Lotus, rite?
