2 November 2009
Click here -> The world’s most expensive and cheapest McDonald’s.
Talk about a neat way to gauge the economy! I’ve read about this a few times in the past and at that point Indonesia had the cheapest Big Mac on Earth. Guess who has the top spot now?

(although i much prefer those home made roadside burgers…)
Haha, you should try the famous SS15 Subang Jaya’s ‘burger dadah’ located opposite the modern wet market. It is so delicious, it is called burger dadah because it’s very addictive!! Although, can’t have too frequently cuz it’s not healthy hehe.
I was reading Malaysia Airline’s facebook page where a Singaporean praised our burger’s taste which can never be found in their country. Unfortunately, their
On more serious economic matter, Big Mac is priced as such because of the undervalued ringgit currency. MYR in fact, is the most undervalued currency (57% compared to USD) for developed and developing country in the world!! A fair value for our currency should be USD1.00 = RM1.50!!

There are pros and cons to it, but bashers can never understand. They will say the govt is corrupted etc, then compare with SG, HK, JP, even the goddamn Thais.
One pro that I can think is that it gives opportunities for our country to be very attractive to the export markets. That is a market we must be strong since our local markets are… well… plagued with proton bashers mentality (anything msian = lousy). In time, when we are successful in the export markets, then the MYR can appreciate but not eat up the profits (like what happened Yen) too much as the demand and value is strong (think Apple. Many say their products are overpriced and overrated, but people still want to own an iphone, ipod etc), thus, giving better revenues to our country!
Being the government, or anything associated with it (like Proton or MAS) is a very thankless job indeed. I salute to you people!!

Nevermind, we benefit cuz they have to come here to get their fix of our unique delicacy haha.
